Ya girl finally got back in the kitchen last weekend and whipped up a few Airfryer recipes for you! Starting with this baby: Mini Scones w/ Sun-Dried Tomato, Gochujang & Mozarella. These are very easy to make and bake in the Philips Airfryer. Normally it takes me about 10 mins in an oven, but these were done in 7 mins! Plus, they came out perfectly crisp and soft & fluffy in the middle. Check out this recipe with a Korean twist and hope you enjoy!
On my Instagram account I’ve shared this recipe with a REEL where I uploaded the music from that famous French Arabic guy. What these two have in common? Absolutely nothing…
Every chip needs a dip! And this Japanese Style Smoked Salmon fits perfectly with the Fried Seaweed Chips I also made. You can also add this “dip” on top of some Sushi rice, in a wrap of sandwich. Go crazy and whip it up!
Easy peasy snacking is made simple with just a few ingredients. If you love sushi than these snacks are for you!
This comforting and easy Chicken Kheema dish is something I make when I want to eat a flavorful meal with chicken, and which is done is 20 minutes. Chicken mince cooks faster and the leftovers can be eaten on a bun, or you can even stuff it in the roti. Whichever way you prefer to eat it, it will be mind blown 😉
This fragrant Lamb Shank Curry w/ Coconut Milk is one to make when you want to take good care of yourself and need some soul satisfying food. I made this for myself and enjoyed it with roti and the next day with rice. It takes a bit of time, but the result is worth the wait and if you make this the day before all the flavours incorporate better. Try it soon!
In my second cooking video, I slightly modified the concept to stay closer to myself and share my favorite Surinamese and Asian dishes. But I will also show you which restaurants or trends I am inspired by, because in this series I want to Cook with LOBI (LOVE)!
This comforting and rich Thai soup is one of my favorite soups out there! I love the Thai flavors, crunchy textures, and creamy broth. It’s a perfect pick me up or light meal on a hot or cold day.
Most of you know that I was born in Surinam and that my roots are in India and Nepal. My mother’s stories about her grandparents who came from India: how they lived, what they cooked and how they ate, captivated me from an early age. But it was only when we lived in the Netherlands, and I started cooking more that we started to enjoy the authentic Indian cuisine and created our favorite dishes, such as Chicken Tandoori, Biryani, Naan, Chutneys and many more. In this recipe, I teamed up with Xenos and created an easy Tandoori Chicken Burger for a midweek meal! Are you ready for this?
