Cheddar Corn Fritters w/ Buldak Mayo
Ingredients
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ⅓ cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 garlic clove minced
- ⅓ cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup or 140 gr corn canned or fresh
- 1 tbsp parsley finely chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
- oil for frying
- For the Buldak mayo:
- 1 tbsp Buldak Chicken Sauce You can find this sauce in the Asian stores
- 2 tbsp mayo
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Start with the wet and then add the liquids until you get a lumpy batter.
- Then place a deep pan on the stove and add enough oil for frying. Place dollops of batter in the pan (I did this with two teaspoons which I dipped in the hot oil to prevent the batter from sticking) and fry on medium heat until golden brown and cooked in the middle. This takes about 7 minutes.
