Cheddar Corn Fritters w/ Buldak Mayo

Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ⅓  cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • ⅓  cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup or 140 gr corn canned or fresh
  • 1 tbsp parsley finely chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • oil for frying
  • For the Buldak mayo:
  • 1 tbsp Buldak Chicken Sauce You can find this sauce in the Asian stores
  • 2 tbsp mayo

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Start with the wet and then add the liquids until you get a lumpy batter.
  • Then place a deep pan on the stove and add enough oil for frying. Place dollops of batter in the pan (I did this with two teaspoons which I dipped in the hot oil to prevent the batter from sticking) and fry on medium heat until golden brown and cooked in the middle. This takes about 7 minutes.
