

Surinamese Dawet (without Cornstarch)
Ingredients
- 500 ml water
- 150 g sugar
- 250–400 ml coconut milk (depending on how sweet you want your Dawet, but you can also add milk) depending on how sweet you want your Dawet, but you can also add milk
- 1 Sereh Lemongrass, bruise it with your knife
- Pinch of salt
- 1–2 caps of Cola and Dawet essence (available at Asian supermarkets) available at Asian supermarkets
- 1–2 caps of rose water (optional) optional
